We have partnered with Pew Research, and are keying off insights indicating that 80% of nontraditional workers don’t have an IRA, 78% said they would participate in a plan if one were offered to them, and 57% said they would use a financial plan or website (to save a percentage of each transaction).

As the workforce evolves, and becomes more non-traditional, so should retirement planning. Today’s workers need a flexible and personally-tailored way to save money for their future in a way that works for their present. Nia offers the 1099’ers the ability to create a financial plan that works with the ups and downs of self-employment, its multi-source income, can be adjusted at any time, and can give them an unfiltered look at how their savings, spending, and planning translates into retirement. 
Nia takes users through a journey that explores their retirement dreams, current realities, and ways to get them to their goals. Through a series of questions, we’re able to determine our users financial goals and current financial standing, and gently lead them towards having a dedicated savings plan, retirement account, and one portal to handle all of this information. 

As a platform that transacts with self-employed/freelancers, investing in their financial wellbeing is an investment in organizational wellbeing.  Freelance workers who don’t need to stress about their financial future can free up cognitive bandwidth for higher productivity, higher quality output, and more joy in present life.
