UX/UI Designer
part-time

Overview - lead the design of Nia's web application from 0→1

What you’ll own (initial project)

  1. Join Nia at its inception. Bring your 0–1 experience and own the design and “tone” of Nia’s initial product (financial planning for the self-employed web app). You will be a pivotal figure in defining Nia’s “voice” as it guides freelancers to take care of their financial wellness and save for retirement.

  2. Use qualitative customer insights to build the product screens so that Nia’s audience receives the value they expect from the platform, including addressing internal barriers through a product that helps people take care of their future.

  3. Help define the language and tone Nia adopts when offering its user-base solutions to improve their future financial lives.

  4. Work with Product Management to create an end-to-end flow from a user’s onboarding to their dashboards and plans. Work with external platforms to identify points of integration so that freelancers can easily open retirement accounts with Nia.

  5. Just like most startups, looking for someone to grow with the company and potentially be our Design leader in the long term.
